Player Evaluations (Formerly Called Tryouts)

Please note: Evaluations are NOT true tryouts. All registered players will make a team. Evaluations help ensure teams are balanced.

January 27

Competitive T-Ball – 6:00 PM | Jones Field
PeeWee Boys – 6:00 PM | Morgan Field
Coach Pitch Boys – 7:00 PM | Jones Field
Coach Pitch Girls – 7:00 PM | Youngblood Field

January 29

PeeWee Girls – 6:00 PM | Youngblood Field (Pitchers & Catchers will follow)
Major Girls – 6:00 PM | Scarborough Field (Pitchers & Catchers will follow)
Major Boys – 6:00 PM | Jones Field
Minor Boys – 7:00 PM | Jones Field

What players need to bring:

Glove
Helmet
Bat
Girls divisions: Fielding mask is required

Managers & Coaches

Managers will be finalized at our board meeting on January 25 and posted on our website immediately after.

Anyone signed up or interested in managing or coaching is strongly encouraged to attend our meeting on Wednesday, January 21:

T-Ball – 6:00 PM
Baseball – 6:45 PM
Softball – 7:30 PM

We will review coaching expectations and season bylaws.

Team Drafts & Communication

Team drafts will take place on February 3 and February 5.

Managers will contact parents shortly after drafts.
Most teams communicate using the GroupMe app. We recommend downloading and setting it up ahead of time.
The league will host a GameChanger training session closer to the season.

Important: Each team is responsible for providing 4 adults to cover 2 shifts in the concession stand during the season. This is another great way to support your coach and help keep games running smoothly.

Opening Day & Closing Ceremonies

Opening Day: March 28

Opening ceremonies will begin with a parade of teams at 10:00 AM.

Closing Ceremonies: May 16

All-Star announcements will be made during closing ceremonies.

More details will be shared as we get closer to each event.

Uniform Information

T-Ball & Baseball: Uniform top and hat included
Softball: Uniform top included (no hats due to required field masks)
Coaches will choose team colors for pants, socks, and belts. Please wait before purchasing.
Pinstripe pants may be ordered through the uniform company; pricing is comparable to store-bought options.

Complex Work Days

February 28 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
March 21 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

If you’re unable to attend these days but are available at another time, please let us know. We truly appreciate any help as we prepare the complex for the season.
